Still soaking it all in after an unforgettable day at the Grand Opening celebration of the newly restored Hotel Del Coronado. From a morning ceremony with Mayor John Duncan and Mayor Todd Gloria to tasting bites from Nobu, Veranda, and Serea, every moment felt like a celebration of Coronado’s vibrant spirit. We even got to cool off at the Shore House pool party—DJ, synchronized swimmers and all—before an incredible evening featuring Aaron Paul (yes, that Aaron Paul!) pouring his own mezcal, a party on the lawn, live music, and fireworks under the stars. Grateful to share it all with good friends in such a magical setting.

Coronado is Calling!!!
For many years, we were curious about life in the beautiful beach community that stares back at our previous home in downtown San Diego. As day trips became more and more frequent, we eventually made the decision to follow our dreams and establish roots on this unique island.
We knew Coronado would be the lifetime home for our new family. It’s the safest community in the San Diego area, has exceptional schools, there are a ton of things-to-do and the residents are extremely kind. The perfect hometown!
While venturing out to get to know the Island and establish a social and professional life here, we found a lot of joy in discovering the unique places that make Coronado a joyful, warm and picturesque community for locals and tourists alike.
Coronado is one of the most beautiful beachside communities in America and is occupied by a wonderful community of genuine and likable residents. The strong local support for our military personnel, fantastic dining variety, locally-owned shops and abundance of outdoor activity options define the character of this paradise and we love sharing our adventures as we discover the ways Coronado is Calling…

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT! O’BrienFest 2025 for This Time Tomorrow Foundation
OBrienFest 2025
A 50th Birthday Celebration to Support the This Time Tomorrow Foundation!!!
Where: The Nautilus Room – Coronado, CA
When: Saturday, March 15th 2023 from 6-10pm
The O’Briens at Porchlight brokered by eXp Realty will once again be throwing a fundraising event to celebrate Mark O’Brien’s birthday and support the This Time Tomorrow Foundation! A sham-rockin’ good time for a great cause!
The party will kick off with an open bar, a rousing toast to celebrate those that graciously donated, a touching musical performance by close friends of the charity followed by a three course Irish-themed dinner and then dance the night away with a high energy performance by The Dreamboats. (“If you took the charisma of the Beatles, combined with the fresh beats of the fictional band the Wonders from the 1996 Tom Hanks hit film “That Thing You Do,” threw in some attitude from Dion and the Belmonts and pour in a whole lotta pop hooks from Weezer, you’d have the blistering vintage, yet contemporary sound of Canadian rockers the Dreamboats. ” – AXS.com)
Your donation will bring an opportunity to celebrate St. Patrick’s good deeds by doing one yourself. “SHARE THE LUCK” with your donation and then celebrate into the night with Mark O’Brien, who will be celebrating his 50th birthday!
*Entry to the event will require a $100 donation to the This Time Tomorrow Foundation with 100% of your generosity going directly to the charity. Look for our “tickets available” announcement with donation instructions around the holidays. The event will sell out so be prepared to act fast!
