Samantha & Mark O’Brien are once again hosting a night of live music to celebrate fundraising efforts for the This Time Tomorrow Foundation—plus, we’ll be raising a toast to a certain someone’s 50th birthday! Get ready for a sham-rockin’ good time for a great cause!
The party will kick off with an open bar, a rousing toast to celebrate those that graciously donated this year, a touching musical performance by the co-founder of the charity followed by an elaborate Irish-themed dinner. Then dance the night away with a high energy performance by The Dreamboats.
(“If you took the charisma of the Beatles, combined with the fresh beats of the fictional band the Wonders from the 1996 Tom Hanks hit film “That Thing You Do,” threw in some attitude from Dion and the Belmonts and pour in a whole lotta pop hooks from Weezer, you’d have the blistering vintage, yet contemporary sound of Canadian rockers the Dreamboats. ” – AXS.com)
Your donation will bring an opportunity to celebrate St. Patrick’s good deeds by doing one yourself. “SHARE THE LUCK” with your donation and then celebrate into the night with Mark O’Brien, who will be celebrating his 50th birthday!
*A $100 donation to the This Time Tomorrow Foundation gets you on the list with 100% of your generosity going directly to the charity
The CharityThe This Time Tomorrow Foundation is a rare and unconditional foundation. 100% of the funds they raise go towards their Random Acts of Kindness program where they surprise people fighting all types of cancer with monetary gifts just when they need them most. Contributing to This Time Tomorrow is a direct way to affect someone fighting cancer positively.
The inspiration for this foundation came from a song written in 2001 by our friend and founder of the foundation, Cory Zimmermann. The song chronicles the emotional path of Cory’s friend, who just found out that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, from disbelief through anger and ultimately hope.
In 2010, Cory was encouraged to start a foundation with the purpose of seeking out people suffering with cancer and providing them with assistance and hope. Teaming up with one of the Midwest’s premiere musicians and another good friend, Tony Goff, together they rallied musicians and celebrities from all over the nation to support this cause. Every year the foundation releases a new version of the title song by a new artist. Quadrupole platinum rock band Candlebox recently released their own version of the song to much acclaim.

It’s amazing to see the end result of donations and the direct effect you can have on these recipients!
ANOTHER WAY TO DONATE:
A PLEDGE DRIVE FOR THIS TIME TOMORROW
As part of our fundraising efforts for This Time Tomorrow—and in honor of Mark O’Brien’s 50th birthday—we’re launching a charity swim challenge!
On the morning of March 15, 2025, Mark will take on an approximately 2.5-mile open-water swim from the Coronado Ferry Landing, through San Diego Bay, and under the iconic Coronado Bridge, finishing at the Coronado Yacht Club in scenic Glorietta Bay. And here’s the kicker—no wetsuit! With water temperatures averaging around 58°F, it’s going to be a serious test of endurance.
CAN HE DO IT? Support the cause by making a donation and cheer him on!
