Walking by Lamb’s Players Theatre this morning made me think of all the live performance art that we’re missing because of the pandemic and how important it is to support these venues and artists while they wait for the green light to reopen.
Lamb’s Players is working to develop new musicals and plays to entertain us once it is safe and are not canceling any performances from 2020 but simply postponing them. I’m especially looking forward to “Million Dollar Quartet”, which is the story of one night in Dec 1956 when Johnny Cash, Elvis, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis had a recording session at Sun Records.
In the meantime, you can make a financial donation to help get them through to the other side by clicking the “Donate Now” button on their website (www.lambsplayers.org).
