It’s quite the scene at the Marriott Coronado’s terrace every Thursday from 5 to 8 pm!
“Food Truck Thursday” is a lot of fun and I personally loved the tacos from Taco Picasso tonight.
This is quickly becoming a must attend weekly summer tradition with rotating local vendors each week, live music and gorgeous views of the bay and downtown.

Hotel Marisol
A lot of people ask me, “Other than the big resorts where is a good place to stay in Coronado?”.

Windsor Lawn Reopening
Buffy and I took a stroll along the beach behind the Hotel Del to check out their newly landscaped and re-opened, Windsor Lawn.
It’s as beautiful as ever and now includes a couple rows of steps that are perfect for sitting and taking in the magnificent view of the ocean.

Coronado Marriott Resort & Spa Flamingos
As you pull up in front of the Coronado Island Mariott Resort & Spa make sure to check out the water features and large pool where flamingos feed!
The whole property is a visual treat with stunning views or the bay, downtown and the bridge and colors are popping everywhere, especially the pink on these magnificent birds.
