It is leash-free year-round on the western part of the beach near the border of the U.S. Naval Station.

Concerts in the Park
Soon Coronado Promenade Concerts (CPC) will produce and manage the annual Spreckels Park summer concert series Sunday afternoons from this bandstand!
The 2019 series featured 15 concerts across five months and this series wouldn’t happen without the support of individuals and business sponsors including Salas Properties!
This season may have to be shortened by just a bit but residents are still excited to celebrate the 50th year of concerts!

Coronado Ferry
Day trippers, tourists and locals with their bikes love taking the short journey across the bay to the Coronado Landing.
Over 3/4 of a million people use the ferry every year to come enjoy all the shops, restaurants, parks and beachfront that Coronado has to offer.

City of Coronado Aquatics Division
The City of Coronado Aquatics Division is dedicated to providing a variety of aquatics programs both fun and challenging to the community in a safe, clean and friendly environment. They do this through program instruction, aquatics exercise opportunities and recreational swimming.

Presidential Visits
Here in Coronado we have been blessed to have 11 President’s visit our our island.
The first being President Benjamin Harrison, pictured here on April 23, 1891 after having breakfast at The Del. This was the first time an in-office United States President had visited San Diego.
Later, Harrison told future President William Taft (another Coronado visitor), “One who has ever breathed this atmosphere would want to live here always.”.
Wish I would have been around during that conversation, I would have given them my card.
