Known as “the friendliest club in San Diego County”, the Coronado Cays Yacht Club has been around for nearly 50 years. They pride themselves on promoting an atmosphere of sportsmanship and camaraderie amongst members and you don’t even need to own a boat to be a member!
The club offers one of the most breathtaking views in San Diego and has world-class waterfront dining and hundreds of events annually. Also, members of most recognized yacht clubs are welcome to CCYC’s clubhouse facilities.

Located on the south end of Glorietta Bay Park, the Coronado Boathouse is open to the public and has vessels to rent for kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.
They also offer instructional classes to learn these activities and also for boating safety!
There’s even limited space available to rent for storing your personal paddle and rowing vessels.
Getting on the water doesn’t have to be an expensive hobby. Just take advantage of the Coronado Boathouse!

There is some good shore fishing around the Ferry Landing and Tidelands Park in Coronado.
On any given day you can catch mackerel, bass, perch, croakers, halibut and rays.
When the fish aren’t biting you can always just take a walk and check out the shops in the Ferry Landing.

Fun fact, Coronado is known as the “Bunting Capital of the World”. If you take a quick trek around town you’ll see patriotic displays and bunting all over homes, businesses and shops
University Blanket & Flag has been providing patriotic bunting and flags for homes on the Island since relocating here in 1985. They got good bunting!
