Just in time for the holidays “Cool Lights ~ Christmas All Year” has opened at the Ferry Landing! It’s the store with Santa out front!

The store has all you need to decorate the perfect tree and bring holiday cheer throughout your home. They have a wide variety of ornaments with San Diego and Coronado themes that are ideal for gift giving and also feature hand-painted ornaments from local artists and popular logoed items from companies like Coca-Cola and Hershey.

It’s not too late to liven up your home with the Christmas spirit!

Today I’m thrilled to highlight Amier’s Tailor Shop in Coronado.

Amier is amazing! Alterations, patches and hole repairs are done quickly and expertly for very reasonable prices. He’s done a phenomenal job on everything I’ve brought to him and his service is so above and beyond I’m tempted to rip my clothes and bring them in just to have the experience.

Military personnel love Amier as well, he can sew in patches on the spot and takes great care of their uniforms!

Tailoring is becoming a lost art but Amier is the real deal!

Artisans Alley Craft Fair

Today until 3pm, Coronado’s original craft fair, “Artisans Alley” at Village Elementary will be home to a wide selection of more than 160 vendors selling homemade crafts and unique holiday gifts!

All proceeds from the fair support the Coronado Band & Choir in the elementary, middle and high schools and throughout the day these talented, musical kids will perform while fairgoers enjoy leisurely outdoor, safe-distanced craft shopping.

I picked up a couple of Robbins’ Rum Cakes before they’re all gone. So delicious!
