I love the natural cantina feel of Miguel’s at the El Cordova Plaza right across from the Hotel Del.
They serve some delectable Mexican food starting with the complimentary chips and jalapeno cheese dip. So dangerous, I scarfed that stuff down like crazy!

I have some exciting news…
Starting today, I will be a part of the Gluch Group here in Coronado!

Switching gears, the City of Coronado has proclaimed May as Mental Health Awareness Month and the Coronado Cultural Arts Commission will be participating the week of May 16th to the 22nd with events that encompass music therapy, art journaling and other art participation activities that maximize and promote positive brain health. As the Special Events & Volunteer Coordination Commissioner, I’ll be working hard to put these events together and I’m looking for volunteers to join our Event Set-Up Team, Welcoming Team and Working Team for this and future events. We’ve got some exciting exhibit openings, musical performances and large events planned for later this year, so if you’re interested in being a part of the fun and glamorous Coronado art scene just let me know by replying to this email.
May is also Military Appreciation Month and here in Coronado with the presence they have in our community, we have a special connection with those that have sacrificed for our freedom.
Memorial Day is May 31st and on this day and every day we honor those currently in uniform and those that have served in the past and we thank them for all they’ve done for us and our country.
